Before moving to California, Polly lived in Oregon where she enjoyed a full career as an elementary school teacher and worked as a realtor in her off hours. After retiring from years of that rewarding -- but hectic -- lifestyle, she set out in pursuit of a career that would focus on good health practices. After considering many directions, she chose massage therapy, which combined her interest in health with her love of working with people. Upon completion of the 529-hour massage therapy program at the East-West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Polly moved to California to be near her grown children and to begin her massage therapy practice. In California, she completed the coursework for and received certifications in several modalities of bodywork, including advanced training in Bowen Therapy. Polly has studied in the U.S. and abroad with numerous teachers representing the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia.
